This is not suppose to replace those few phone conversations and emails that we now share to keep up to date, but enhance them. So, as you search the web take a moment to read, reflect, comment, and laugh as you look through the pages of Our Family's Life.
With that said, I had to have a starting place. SO.... I choose a birthday party so that you can see us now and get to know the players. That way you can put a picture with a name.
Happy Birthday Ya'll !
The month of November has Blessed our family with many birthdays. We choose to get together on November 16, 2008 to celebrate over lunch. The whole family met at Quincy's in Toccoa for food and fellowship. The manager put us in the back room all by ourselves, I guess they had heard about this roughty group. We enjoyed buffet style eating and wonderful laughter and talking. Of course there were conversations about politics, the economy, the car business, and anything else that would make it look like we could actually carry on intelligent conversations and look really smart. Unfortunately, we did not solve any of the world's problems, although if given a chance we could try, but we did seem to share some of the same concerns for our future.
When we were all done and the cake had been consumed we moved on to my house where we tied everyone down till we got those perfect photographs. You know, the ones that Mom has wanted for so long. After a while everyone was falling into line with hair in place, smiles attached and 1,2,3 SNAP, hold on, one more time, repeat. After it was all said and done this collection of pictures was produced and everyone went home to return to the normal routine and enjoy what was left of the weekend.

The Newlyweds!
Well, as you can see we are all growing up and not getting any younger. Everyone seems to be so busy with every day "stuff" it is easy to forget what is important. I am Glad we could stop long enough to spend this time together and make memories. I thank God for each of you every day!!
